One thing from the number of PVP fights ive seen that has come across me as cheesy and giving an unfair advantage, is characters buffing themselves and their friends whilst the two opposing parties are talking to each other.
So, as of now, I am going to say that if someone in a confrontation starts buffing themself or anyone else, this is a hostile action towards your party and you are entitled to begin fighting.
Using peoples RPing time to buff your party up and give yourselves a huge advantage is unfair, so if someone starts buffing during a dialouge, they have just initiated PVP. DMs shall also interpret it this way if posessing NPCs.
