Hobbit Shirriff

Rufus finally met all the requirements for Hobbit Shirriff (Alertness, Lawful, Persuade and Intimate rank 8 (skill 9), halfling) and I wasn't able to choose it. (Level 5 rogue btw)

(So he was forced to take another level of rogue and he's a DEPUTY Shirriff! Right! ;) )

It's a documentation bug. The requirements are actually *9* ranks of persuade and intimidate, not 8 as stated before. Hopefully you'll be able to get the shirrif next level (provided you put an extra skill point into each at levelup).

Thankfully I did take another rank of persuade and intimidate mostly to keep within the theme. (You wouldn't expect such a mild-mannered Hobbit to have a hidden talent for intimidation would you ;) )

Well now... we used to have a Jack Russel Terrier... (she looked a bit like Cooter Cottwain's, Jacko)... and Ive seen that little bugger at the ripe old age of 17, utterly cow boistrous young Rottweillers!

Just to confirm, at next level-up Rufus was indeed allowed to take Hobbit Shirriff. (Must have been erm... fighting... the Dragon and meeting a king that did it!)

The revised requirements are correct and work perfectly. (I know *you* know that, but just thought I'd announce it for "closure" ;) )
