Strength *Sigh*

Ok I didn't think/want this to be a big issue but I obviously have to do it in order to get the staffs attention.

On to my point, it is basically inmopossible to get strength up, yes I have lumbered for about an hour and I have fought Zombies and other monsters for oh say about an hour as well, I then also trained on dummies for 20 minutes, and them mined for a half hour. All this added to give me a grand total of 3 str gains.

1. Strength is not a a skill, it shouldn't be so hard.

2. I may aswell gm fishing on that character to get Truly rare fish. :dozey:

Any fish I will be willing to buy off players. Sorry if this post sounds a bit aggressive becuase at this point I am frustrated and annoyed. Feedback is more than welcome.

mak party with ur friend (u must be green name for him) then he cast curse or weaken (i dunno remeber - that spell what makes ur str low) and u r lumberjacking in that time. Believe me it works :P

So I party with someone, I then lumberjack with them spamming weaken on me?

nope. He cast spell on u and u lumberjack, after some time he cast again it on u - in this way. Dont spam weaken ;)

i forgot to write :/...

to make it more speed (str gaining) make makro f.e. in uoa in what u start lumberjack one tree and set pause in uoloop for 1500-2000 (let ur char hit 1 time tree cause in first hit str gains - in begining not in end like in normal skills)

Str is fine, i've made 4 new chars and havent had a problem gaining str.

str is fine, i've spent less than a few hours on my miner and already gained atleast 13 str.
As for comments about 'tried it recently?' if msc had made a change about strength gain it would have been posted.
Personally i think some players really do need to learn about the luck element in gains.

all i said was its bad luck, scythe you (and several other players) do have a tendency to jump to the conclusion that its something that the server is doing wrong rather than maybe your having a bad day or that your method is flawed.
But unless you can actually prove there is something wrong on our end then theres very little the staff can do.

I usually gain str to 90 with mining. Then wrestle to gain str to 115. Works for me. You don't have to succeed to gain with mining..... just hold the last object/last target macro hotkey down and let her rock and roll. Wrestling to gain the rest will take longer, but its not too bad.

Sorry, but time expired before i could edit.

I created a new character, mined for 30 minutes no gain at all.
Chopped trees for 30 minutes, no gain at all.
Wrestled for 30 min, got 1 point of gain.

I used to gain from 50 to 90 in about 30 minutes by mining. Then it would take a couple of days of fighting to gain to 115. NOT SO ANYMORE.

I got to thinking about it , I had not eaten.....went and got some food, ate, and gained like crazy,......wrestling......

it took me atleast 7 hours to get 110 str, the other stats are harder to gain too, i had to macro muscianship overnight to get both dex and int to 100

well jus to spice things up, i changed my stats from 110 str, 100 int, 90 dex to 115 str, 95 int an 90 dex.

so i needed to gain 5 str, which took me no longer then 15 mins by using a knife on hearts :P

The easiest way to gain is to curse clothes and wear them. it drops your str considerably and then go train you STR up and when your done, just have your char die to get the clothes off and then your str will go back up to where it was + whatever you gained :E

does str actually get harder to gain the higher your skill points??? has always seemed to be a steady gain to me :/

if it doesn't get harder i can't see how Gwar's method would help

I'm also having trouble raising str and i think people are concluding things have changed because i'm sure they have done it loads of times before (and i mean insane amounts of times).

Anyway, as far as im aware gains are usually good until they hit a certain value like 90 or something. Its hard to gain after that unless you curse your clothes.

Well since my last post im up to 75 str. Its taken ages, and i've tried everything. So far im only gaining through fighting zombies and stuff.

i melee'd with a player and it gained quickly to 65 ish
