View Full Version : redeed boat question
If I redeed a boat while another player is on my boat(logged off) where will they be when they log back in? Just curious.
you cant redeed a boat if any other player then u is on it.
What happens to your character if you redeed while at sea?
Do you drown? or are you stuck? or are you teleported to town?
or are you refused the option if you are in the boat?
I get the option to redeed. But if I die( drown) i'd lose the deed. I also have my other character on the boat.
Again the option to redeed does come up. I'm just not sure I want to redeed if Im gonna die and lose the deed.
any help would be appreciated.
btw, can the motion of the boats be increased?
the only way to increase the motion is to use the 'full speed' command instead of 'forwards'
if you redeed while on a boat you get stuck where you are, you are free however to use the stuck option.
I decided to try the "full speed" command....... mistake, lol
I had been gaining stealth back.....so was hidden when I logged in. I typed the command "full speed" and the boat went off and left me lololol.....I'm standing on my horse in the water. My other character is a ghost on the boat, lol I now have a ghost ship with no commander that is sailing around by itself.
It will eventually hit land somewhere, and I guess i'll find it. I can do a .where with my ghost.
just thought i'd tell ya.....it might be a bug, or just bad luck...
okay this is odd,
I used the stuck option ..... waited. logged out
came back in and i was back on my boat because "i was not in the same position....so it placed me back on my boat which was halfway around the world from where i was.....tis cool, im moving again, but not quite as fast.....i don't know if i want to try the full speed thing again.
Job steps on land and kisses the ground......
I did get the boat to do right, full speed works fine.
Megan is now on land too.
Thanks for all the help!!
