Exp Points

I've killed a white wyrm a couple of times in the last few minutes, no exp point gains.....

I am at level 39,

I thought I was to get exp points....please help

well my first answer is simply that you dont gain exp everytime you kill a creature (for example i tend to kill some warrior npcs near my house, and once in a while i get some more exp)

as for if white wyrms give exp at level 39, thats something only msc or someone whos tried killing them at that level can answer.

I have the same problem with Shelob, I am level 40 and I killed Shelob with 0 exp in return. :(

I was going by the experience system article on the homepage.....its excellent info for what you should kill to get points.

I have not had any exp gains since the change to damage dealt to the creatures.

I used to get gains every time i killed something of the right level. Has the new scripts made this "random"....if so...(not cool).

I do like the extra points being dealt to the monsters(very nice addition.....thanks!!)

I did get points from killing another player today. I'll try some monsters again later.

I killed about 25 pheonix yesterday. Got the 39 experience points for each one. I was at level 39. I went up to level 40.:)

I think I know now why I did not get points for the White
Wyrm......I had sent a polar bear to kill the archer first, and the polar bear then struck damage to the WW before it was dispelled. I then killed the WW with my bow, but received no points because the bear dealt damage to the WW. I believe that if I had killed the WW "without" help from the bear then I would have received the exp points.

If anyone has had experience with this please inform me. I'm just guessing here.

BTW.....on the home page the "max points" are one off.

For example, if you have 39 points you should still be able to get points from an ettin lord. since it has a max 39(if the max is 39 then i should get points when i have 39) but you can't after 38.

I believe this is the same with the rest of the creatures too. I'll know soon enough, I'll try a pheonix again later. According to the page I should still get points when I'm at 40.....I don't think this will be the case however.

u have all info there - what creature give exp to what lvl and how much exp it gives :P
