I think the areas for high level evil players are a bit under-developed - Minas Morgul and Barad Dur. The level of detail is low but as far as I'm concerned it's alright as it keeps the lag at bay.
What Minas Morgul lacks is the athmos I think, and the map-pins are wrong.
Dm_Kev please spoil us with some new quest for the evil side of the server :). I'm looking forward to it. The rewards I think should be as low as possible (100, 200 xp) 'cause I think that the so called 'evil level limbo' is quite good and serves well, keeping the characters from progressing too fast.
Tell me what you think.
Dol Guldur is smashing and the whole of Mirkwood are. Isengard as well (even tho it lags like a slug on my machine: 2.7 ghz, 256 ram, vid 64 mb, 512 kb broadband).
My favourite quest is the low-lvl quest at Dol Guldur - Slay The Stoors. I'd love to see more quests like that! Just love it.
Just an aside on the lag front - its probably your Ram thats doing it.
I say this because your processor speed is higher than mine, so its probably not that. However where you have 256 ram, I am running 512 ram and very very rarely get any lag whatsoever.

Thanks Lorien unfortunately I'm skinned again, but I'm going to extend it someday. You fancy buying me 256 ram module for christmass....hm...erm...why not?
The other problem might of course be the video card, mine I know is having problems in certain areas such as Isengard.
Also with the introduction of NWN2 soonish you may want to consider saving up for the specifications on that are quite high.
A few players have been privately told, but i'll make it official:
All of my time with building the module now is being committed to the development of new quests for each faction. Most will be a progression of challenges for our more experienced characters, though I may on occasion revisit certain areas to offer an option of 'quest progression paths' rather than a set one for each character you make.
I should also point out that the time I will need to develop quests will take longer than normal, as the quests themselves are going to be much more sophisticated and will be an effort by myself to show off the strengths of the UTT2 module.
They are also part of a project to make UTT2 more about the characters. Thats player characters and Non Player characters. It's my intention to see player characters initiate further adventure through their interactions with the npcs and develop relationships with the NPC's through the course of quests rather than the simple follow orders and a well done at the end.
The quests will uncover interesting facts about how the NPCs think and what their lives may be like and how your good/evil interventions affect them and their region.
So expect some very compelling plots, good friends, quirky characters and mystery and intrigue like you've never seen before! And, on many a quest, expect to see dangerous situations, large battles and unexpected twists and turns in the plot.
I will be doing my very best to satisfy good and evil character players, but I can only do one quest at a time! Generally, I will take turns with quests for each faction.
Im currently about half way through a new Rohan quest called "Deadly Surroundings" which is set to become an awesome adventure where a simple mission to inquire twists and turns into a retrival, then defense, then a daring rescue, leading to a confrontation with the evil mastermind.
This will be followed by an Evil quest involving Mordor, Umbar and the sea side villages of South Gondor.
In the meantime, I will leave you all in suspense (I hope, anyway) and give those budding Lords and Hands of Sauron time to earn the ranks they need for the new quests!
