Tomorrow I will be handing out a number of projects and plans to the staff now our numbers are greatly increased.

At least 2 DMs will be working as player liasion, where I hope they can get the PCT moving by offering a more approachable and responsive service to players.

Some problems I've identified with our team is that we:

- Are not always avaialble for comment on potential changes due to low staff numbers. Same goes for implementing changes.

- Are not always particularly organised with getting fixes and quick changes done.

- We can take a while to get changes online

- The above risks distancing players from the development team in the forums and on the contributive level.


So with your to be announced player liasion DMs, you will be able to:

- Use a thread in this forum to notify us of 'Quick to Fix' issues, such as spelling errors, transition problems, flying placeables and broken dialouge. Basically anything which can be fixed in a couple of minutes or less. Leave bigger problems for the bugs thread.

- Offer ideas and suggestions which would be quick and easy to implement which you beleive would improve the module for whatever reason. E.g. Addition of effect or placeable items, small conversation changes, addition of a new/range of item/s and creature ideas. Leave detailed ideas for a seperate thread.


The Player liasions will work closely with myself and other staff to ensure that submissions are implemented and put online as quickly as possible.

It is my hope that the Player Liasion service will encourage input from players and improve the responsiveness of our development team.
