New vacancy on the team

We are now looking for an event organiser to join the lothlorien staff team.

This position would need to be filled by someone with considerable experience of Lothlorien and who feels they can easily liaise with the staff and players.

Here is a rough description of what we are looking for:

Someone who will organise events ahead of time
Will be responsible for making sure that the GM's are running enough events and the right type of events
Getting feedback from players and recommending new/different types of events based on that
Passing on any problems of a script nature with events to scripters so that they can be fixed
Making use of the new 'Ultima Online events calendar' (Ultima Online Calendar - Wireplay Community Forums (http://forums.wireplay.co.uk/showthread.php?t=310172)) on the forums to advertise events

This will hopefully allow more structure into events run and so increase the diversity and turnout at events. GM’s will be able to plan to have different types of events and at different times so that more players can take part in more events.

This is a purely administrative role and so the person hired will NOT have any additional in game powers (no staff account)

I think this is a great idea. And whoever claims they really want a say in what happens with this shard should definitely apply. If you don't apply, don't complain when you don't get the events you want.

And in my personal experience, people who render their services at the player level often find themselves suddenly at the staff level. So yeah... APPLY.
