Just a small suggestion. In a certain city you can buy some raw meat that make a real nice emote when you eat it. Is it possible to make all the raw meat that animal creates is creating the same effect but is only usable by orcs in this form. Everyone else is only allowed to cook it, not eat it raw. I know this is really not a high prio case, but it is fun to see orcs *eat the raw meat with a loud noise*.

That's exactly how the meat you get from dead animals works already. Just try eating it with your orc and you'll see.

Mmm... what about making human/elvish/hobbit NPCs in Mirkwood (and elsewhere?) drop a chunk of meat when they die? edible by orcs only, of course, roasted or not :vampire:

No self respecting orc would eat elf meat, it would sicken them. But humans, hobbits and dwarves certainly are fair game.

My humble opinion, of course, but hobbits don't make much sense either... Why would any orc prefer to peck around at the meagre amount of meat on a hobbit's puny bones (*shudder*), when every hobbit's pack has near ten times their own weight in even tastier foodstuffs? Okay, whisk aside the turnips and mushrooms, orcs are still left with quite a banquet of hams, bacon slabs, and sausages.

That pretty much leaves humans and dwarves as reasonable orc-suppers, by my reckoning.

Admittedly, I haven't played very much, but one thing stroke me quite soon after first travels:

At least in the good starting area (Arnor), the wilderness areas, save those specifically ear-marked for adventuring, are dead. While there are some wilderness sounds, there is absolutely no wildlife.

So, partially related to the thread: Perhaps setting a few encounters that spawn game would be appropriate?

I understand one of the Dev team has already worked out a system for this :). I understand it is near complete.

Indeed, the next update to the Rivendell region should address both the wildlife and food variety points (amongst other things) :)

If the wildlife spawns work well, perhaps they may be extended to other areas
