if you want to get away with any crime, use gender change!

Its a recurring phrase on this shard, In my opinion its got to go.

If someone steals or pvp or pks, that char should face some sort of retribution by the victim.

The problem is/ you just can't tell who your fighting or trying to avoid.
gender change promotes kaos

... it may change your gender, but the player's name remains the same, and from my experience it doesnt reduce you kill count, etc ...

so what you are all saying is that I can create another char, make him incognito (woman)
then do my thing (pk or rob a house or whatever then log off and come back whith my regular char as if nothing happened with no consequence.

This is what I think, if you pk or steal or commit any crime, you are responsible for that act, consequently it should be possible to find you and exact punishment!

As things are its not even possible to put a bounty on such a person (char) doesn't it defeat the purpose of having a bounty

I don't want to toil for hours on end just to have a little p**** show up and take it all away from me in a matter of seconds.

Although uo is fantasy there is too much in common with the real world to neglect the possibility of punishment.

but umm ...
1) bounties can be placed on the player that killed you as long as their not in your guild or team.
2) if you loot or kill a blue player, you become a criminal, making you grey and elligble for a good ol' guardwhacking or an attack from other players. Constant killing of blue characters will lead you to go red. And if youve racked up a kill count of something like 200, itll take you forever to go back down to 0.
3) You can go out and 'exact punishment' on the offender by:
a) finding them and get your revenge by killing them
b) getting yourself a platoon of players o.O and ganking the mofo ...
4) Keep in mind this is also a pvp-rpg shard. meaning that you'll eventually die at the hands of others. So its possibly a good idea to either learn to pvp, run really fast or simply bank your stuff .... oh and if you feel like breaking your keyboard, keep in mind that its only a game. and like all games, it has its ups and downs.

but thats just me ...
