The turnout for Minoc Market has been quite poor in the past couple of months, with the majority of arriving players only wanting to buy from the staff stall.

Due to this, we have now set a couple of conditions to the running of Minoc Market. These conditions are:
There will be a minimum amount of player stalls needed for the Market to be opened. If 8pm arrives and we have not met this number of stalls, the event for that month will be cancelled.
The staff stall will not be opened unless we reach a certain amount of player stalls. We will allow until 8.30pm for this number to be reached, incase there are some late arrivals, but if this amount of player stalls is not reached by this time, the staff stall will not be open for that month.
A player stall will only be counted if it is being used properly. Booking a stall and leaving it empty, or placing one or two random items and leaving doesn't help anyone, so please don't do it.

This may seem unfair to some of you, but the market is no fun when there are only two or three stalls, and everyone is just crowding the staff stall. The Minoc Market is not about buying the items we provide on the staff stall - this was just an extra feature we thought would improve the event. The idea is for everyone to socialise with each other, which isn't happening anymore.

The numbers for the conditions will start at 5 and 8. This means that 5 player stalls are needed to open the market, and 8 player stalls are required to open the staff stall. These numbers are subject to change as the popularity of the event increases.

So, next month, I expect much more of you to turn up to the market! Make sure that everyone you know remembers to arrive, and encourage others to stock up ready for the event. :)
