I hate to ask, but - logging out?

I hate to ever argue with what a GM told me in game, but I have to know, is it ok to log out on your boat as long as you are not moving? Seems like it should be ok to log out where ever you want unless its near a bank, with a sign that says, don't log out here.

i see no reason why you wouldn't be allowed to logout on a boat.

Gm daena (sp?) told me last night not to. Any reason why? Like I said, she is so cool in game, I don't want to get her in trouble, Just seemed a little wierd that she wanted me to log out on land instead of in the ocean on my little boat.

i suspect that the reason Counselor Daena told you not to is because if the boat were to move while you were logged out then it could result in you being teleported to land somewhere (possibly then leaving you stranded.)

Personally i advise against logging out on a boat, but theres nothing actually illegal about it.

ok - so I'f I log out on a locked boat, I do it at my own risk. I can live with that. I fish out in the open sea, never seen a single soul, so I have no worries. I was worried because I always log out on my boat.
