You need to download the Air Attack client from here (ftp://ftp.wireplay.co.uk/pub/airattack/patches/win32/AAInstaller4.exe).
Start the game and click the "Online" button.
Enter a random username and password (it doesn't matter what it is because there is no authentication on at the moment).
Check the "save" option.
Login to the game then click "Exit" to come back out.
You then need to click this link (http://www.wireplay.co.uk/airattack/index.php) to join the server. The link will only work if you are logged into the forums. (Save the file first somewhere on your PC then open it once it has downloaded - it will then do the rest).
All being well you should be straight into the action! (Full Theater->Free For All Game is where most players tend to hang out).
