Some of you have been following this and it's now finally arrived. Wireplay's 30 brand new gaming servers are online and the revamp of the entire Wireplay service is complete! See here for news and new website! (http://www.wireplay.co.uk)
We have a brand new server running on dual core processors and double the memory of our currant server. It also uses a super-fast hard disk drive to give it that extra edge. All this placed on a purpose built gaming network means that we, without a doubt have nothing but the best resources at our disposal - and we plan to extract every sinew out of them over the months ahead!
As of 7.30 UK time tonight, we will be chaging over to our new server on a trial basis. All game data as of last Saturday at 12 noon has been carried over. Any notable actions from DM events since may be allowed to be actioned by DMs on request. This is a trial basis just in the event of any major problems (which im not expecting). Should there be issues, we will revert to the old server.
The new server Ip is: 194.154.191.20:5121
Aswell as enjoy our fantastic new server, I also encourage you all to have a look at the new website (http://www.wireplay.co.uk) and add your ideas and thoughts so you too can have a role in this exciting future for Wireplay. Remember that a lot more than NWN servers are run here! So go see what other fun there is to be had!
