It's been a long time since our last newsletter and much has been happening during that time.
We've had many exciting developments completed since the new year and we know that you've been enjoying these a lot. Thank you for your support with those.
I'm pleased to announce that recently, Wireplay was relaunched following a massive investment by it's parent company, Pipex Communications. This investment included 30 brand new public servers, an all-new website, revamped forums and to top it all off, a purpose build gaming network for it all to operate on. Wireplay is truly the place to be for enjoyable, lag-free gaming. That's why we sit at the top of the list for server latency on GameSpy!
We have one of these new servers, running on a dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a super-fast hard disk. We fully intend to make the most of this opportunity and bring our community and module series on leaps and bounds over the coming weeks, months and years. We have seen many ups and downs over the years and have lately maintained a holding pattern...But now it's time for a major revival...
Now comes a resurgence reminiscent from our early days over 3 years ago. The community will be built up and re-engaged and the masterpiece that is the Untold Tales series shall be given an aggressive, fresh round of far-reaching updates and some very special add-ons. The glory days are set for a return beyond words...
Support this fantastic community of roleplayers and friends, where Middle Earth Roleplay, the only true Middle Earth Roleplay world can be enjoyed to it's fullest - only here at Wireplay. Now is the time to spread the word that Wireplay NWN is coming back to the players, bigger and better than before!
