We've had a number of reports and complaints recently about what seems to be an isolated case of "intimate" roleplaying. That is to say, the roleplaying was of a very explicit, sexual nature - enough said.
The entire Wireplay service is intended to generally be suitable for all gamers eligable to play the game they wish to play.
Neverwinter Nights is rated as a 12+ title in the UK and therefore we expect players on our server aged 12 and above. Because of the presence of a broad age range of players, we cannot permit explicit and intimate types of roleplaying on the server. Aswell as the chance of young people witnessing this activity, other users may also take offence.
There are arguements about getting round these issues, but I personaly don't think such extreme types of roleplaying are needed here anyway. If two characters are good bedfellows, then there's simpler, quicker ways of getting that message across :)
As a pointer here - I rated UTT2 on NW Vault as "Mature" content. This basically represents some occasional mild NPC swearing, some of the gory scenes we use and the fact there is a level of maturity needed to engage in a hardcore roleplay environment.
I will be adding this rating guide to the info and contacts thread and also to the Module start area.
