I know it may still be a while before there is an update. But, when the time comes, I would like to request some logs that can be sat upon, around the Dunedain camp, so we don't get our butts wet in the constant rain.:naughty:
Thanks
Yes please, I would also request the area to have a bit more of a hidden feel to it. I know it is kind of a valley and not visible from the road but how about making it seem more part of a wood? By adding trees, shrubbery and perhaps the odd badger; not all over that area but just on the raised perimeter of the camp.
Alternatively there could be an area transition where the camp now is which could lead to the camp. the transition could be hidden in a similar way to the Rivendell one ie search/spot being on an alignment gradient. I have never been all that happy with the camp being so easily found.
Agreeing with Dakota and Snarfel.
I doubt rangers would set a secret camp just outside Tharbad, by the road. *beg mode: on* Give us a nice camp :P With a merchant... perhaps ? And ..some new quests for the Dunadan folk ? And some kind of a tent and seats, really, we're totally soaked on every meeting. And a ping-pong table.

At this time, all we are asking for is a little bit more secluded and comfortable camp, though nothing that looks out of place. Until we earn guild status, we are not in any position to ask for anything special, such as a merchant. Also, we have great support from DM's already, particularly DM Sauron. And we can come up with our own plot devices without special quests being built for us. But as SNarfel and Eqvinox noted, the current npc camp would benefit from a more secretative location. I have thoughts for the future when we achieve guild status (have to think positive!), about an area that may be more suited for guild headquarters. And we have a very talented builder that has expressed interest in helping us in that respect, when the time comes. However, this is a discussion that should be kept to the #TheGreyCompany channel on IRC, or for in game when we can all be together, as I do want everyone's input for those ideas, but don't want to make them public.

I agree about a more secretive location for the ranger camp, and getting some logs to sit on hehe. I dont think a new map is needed or anything as the size feels right to me but perhaps we could block the route with woods and add a secret path through the trees leading to the other side?
Like snarfel said - the rivendell path is excellent and i'd like to see something similar leading to the ranger camp.
On a similar note; I recently came across Thranduils realm and was blown away! This place looks absolutely Amazing! I dont know who designed it but they really did an amazing job. In my mind its almost exactly how I pictured it.
But anyway I bring this up because I think the transition between mirkwood and the elven king's gate could also benefit from one of these secretive transitions.

Actually, the only reason you were able to enter Thranduil's realm, is because you are an elf. That bridge does not work for other races. So, the right idea, but it was already thought of.
