Pre-match

1. A clan representative must get the match server password from the match admin in #wpcs.cup up to an hour before the game

2. When a suggested fixture date is announced, your clan needs to confirm or reject the fixture via email to kevin.balmer@gmail.com If the fixture is rejected, a more suitable one will be arranged. If the fixture is confirmed by both clans, we have a game.

3. If your clan is forced to cancel a match which both clans have confirmed, you must contact the opposing clan and inform them of the situation. The opposing clan has the right to chose to have the match rescheduled or to win by default.

4. Make sure you know when your games are taking place. Confirmed fixture lists and their times can be found on the Wireplay CS forum.

5. You can select and field a team of 5 players, consisting only of those named in your signup e-mail. You cannot add new players to the clan list during the competition. A clan fielding a team consisting of a player or players not named in the signup email will result in forfeit of the match.

Match

1. Please be punctual for your scheduled fixture and please note the following:

• Clans may login to the match server 5 minutes before the agreed start time.
• Clans must have at least one player logged into the match server by ten minutes past the agreed time. Failure to do so will result in a match forfeit.
• If only part of a clans squad is logged in 15 minutes after the agreed start time, the match will commence regardless.

2. The first round will be a knife round. The winning clan of this round will decide which side (CT or T) they will begin on. Players will then swap sides as needed.

3. The admin will ask all players to confirm that they are ready at the start of each half.

4. Once the teams for the first half are decided and ready, there will be three round restarts. After these restarts, the first half will commence.

5. The game is split into two halves of 15 rounds each. At the end of the first half, the clans will swap sides and there will be three restarts. At the end of the second half, the game is over and the post-match process will begin.

6. Should any player unexpectedly leave the game during the match, it will be paused. If five minutes pass, the game will continue regardless.

7. During the match, please observe the following:

• It goes without saying that cheating in any shape or form is unwelcome. If proven, it will be met with disqualification and a total ban from the entire Wireplay service.
• Act in a respectful and sporting manner. Disruptive or abusive behaviour is thoroughly unwelcome and could be met with disqualification.
• Do not deliberately cover the bomb with physics objects.
• Ensure you are in full view of the bomb when defusing it.

Post-Match

1. If the game is drawn, there will be a knife round to decide the winner.

2. At the end of the match, a provisional result will be posted on the forum by the match admin.

3. A representative from each clan must login to #wpcs.cup on IRC to confirm or register a conflict with the result.

4. Once both representatives confirm the score, it will be flagged as a final result on the forum.

5. If a conflict is registered, the admin will ask for a full accounting of the conflict from the individual concerned. The full admin team will deliberate the matter once the facts are at hand.

The competition will go through three stages:

Round 1 (8 clans)
Semi Final (4 clans)
Grand Final (2 clans)

The map in use for a stage will be disclosed in advance of it starting.

Confirmed Fixtures will be in the Confirmed Fixtures thread

The drawing of fixtures for the first round will be performed at random.
