Okay..
I was bored, since my normal server was down, so I thought I'd do something
useful with my time, like.. find some other server to waste my abhorrent
amount of spare time on..
After some searching in the lists, I decide that your server was worth a try.
I create a character.. press to join game.. and this cute little information box
pops up to tell me that I am a dork because I did not get all the files needed
to play here.
Now what was it.. some kind of cep file? Did they release a new version?
Ooookay.. I download CEP again, and reinstall.
That did not work (of course).. and I guess I would have understood that had
I used a little common sense, which was probably left at the night stand.. or
on the bus home from the night shift..
So.. I /doh myself in the forehead and check the server details again.
Some kind of merp site.. great.. ALT-TAB to browser, merp-something..
there.. But the page is Missing!!
*caffeine induced keyboard banging ensues*
Now it was getting personal..
Google next stop.. and to my great surprise, this site was one of the top hits.
"All hail Zee Googles!", I declare to my sleep deprived self..
At last.. the forums. My target was not far away now.. I jump into the first
stickied topic that sounds important: Rules, rules, rules.. No files..
Okay.. back to the main forum.. aaaaand.. yes.. some obscure new topic!
Apparently I am not the only one who has searched for these files.
Feeling like a bit of my lost self esteem has returned, or at least content that
I am not the only blind fellow, I click it, and Yes! There are links.. even two different ones! The time I wasted of my useless exsistance was actually
worth it..
Great, yes.. I follow the first link, and happily start a downlo.. Hey! Wait a
minute.. no files there.. nooo.. Trixies zhey play on uss!
Tried the second link, slightly annoyed that I allowed my self to gain a tiny bit
of hope at the end of my quest..
Buuut..
Dead meat..
So.. I have concluded that you most likely do not want new players.. Or are
just really lazy and refuse to update any information.. ever!
But if it is the latter one, maybe you could post a link to (hopefully a single
large file) the stuff one need to enter your little realm.
