Kicked and banned

I have just been vote kicked and banned from the wireplay COD4 #1server.

=AFA=Crazykid
=AFA=mapdmek

I joined the server, as there were actually people on it and within less than a minute i was kicked. tried to rejoin and said I was banned.

clearly these two idiots wanted to play with themselves, which if by doing this to people joining the server is is not going to be popular. I certainly wont return to it.

Hi Oddy

The two people on the server are not admins, and did not kick you.

Seems Punkbuster lost connection to your client and removed you from the server.

had this problem before on any other servers? care to try ours again and see if it happens again?

Hi all....i am new here.....i play on Wireplay servers too but another game....FREELANCER....and i wana try COD4....
Question is:.......where and how i can join to some of the servers???Do i need something to download or ???

Hey trent, don't know if you remember me, used to play on the Freelancer servers, as Order ;)

Anyway, first of all you'll need to buy CoD4 (duh), then you need to update it, there is an auto-update button at the main menu of multiplayer.

Thanks for the reply, but the reason I said I was vote kicked I did distictly saw a vote menu prior to my departure from the server, I got a kick message. Went to rejoin and It stated I was Temporarily banned, I would assume if it was anti cheat I would be banned permanent. How ever I have yet to retry it.

And hi Oddy, i cant see anything bout any votes in any of the menu's, and there is no admin mod type thing installed atm, less its a standard cod4 feature.

PB is on the most liant setting at the mo, so only kicks and temp bans
seems we've had around 3 other people caught by it at the moment.
possibly something to do with a lost communcation so it kicking.

it is in the esc menus unde CALL VOTE

Hi all, been playin cod4 for a couple of weeks, like the game but as usual is full of the imature idots swearing and the like, not a bit like freelancer huh metz/sneaky.

But having said that havent yet tried the wp server which i am about to do now, wil keep in touch.

they are running version 1.5 afaik

double check what server filters you are using, prob been filtered out
