So I have no idea about anything when it comes to clients and all that but some how i managed to dl ML and some patches clients...I dont even know but it worked. Point is Id always crash when I recalled or stepped through a gate and lag and push backs were horrible (I think it was client 5.0.something) so i tried makin old version work (2.0.3) and couldnt and got mad deleted EVERYTHING and dled new. SO! playin 2.0.3 now I guess and im crashing when I recall, never happened before and i cant log in on a char now which im sure will pass but its annoying :tired: . Does anyone know or can suggest a different client for me to use...and where I can get it :(

you really didnt have to delete everything and redownload it, but obviously that doesnt matter at this point.

from what i am aware of client version 2.0.3 crashes pretty randomly since the upgrade so its probably a good idea to stay away from that.

Both of the running client versions are currently available from the wireplay lothlorien downloads section and i have linked them below

reinstall ultima online (2D), dont run it until you have used the larger installer (otherwise it will try and update automatically from the OSI(EA) servers and may cause to you to have to reinstall ultima online once more.

once the installer has completed simply run the client from the Ultima online directory to which you have installed it to (e.g. c:\program files\ultima online).

Thanks, i had both of them but its still 2.0.3...idk it seems to be better now. Question how come it wont let me select an expansion other then T2A? I'm confused :loony:

Because T2A is the only expansion pack that 2.0.3 can really support, setting it to anything higher could cause bad things to happen :P

If you really want to use a higher expansion pack then you'll need to try and get one of the newer clients to work.

if you go to google and type in "mondains legacy download" you'll get a good number of places you can get it from, personally I used this (http://www.download.com/Ultima-Online-Mondain-s-Legacy-client/3000-7541_4-10432237.html) one.

However if you were having trouble with newer clients (they can seem more laggy as they have more information to transfer between you and the server) then it might be a better idea to stick to 2.0.3
