In my building expiriences, I have found a way to place NWN standard doors anywhere. Literally.
CEP placeable doors do have some issues, with them spawning additional placeables, and having need to have area transition function scripted separately. Well, no more, I say.
Just do "Adjust location" in the resources' "Doors" tab, and you can have any tileset-allowed door relocated to serve your needs. Doesn't work directly from area view, mind that.
The only inconvinience, is that the door must be spawned into door-socketed tile first. After relocation, a new door can be placed in stead of the relocated one.
