OK everyone, after careful consideration we've created (and then edited about 16 times :P - ssmmdd) a set of rules for Wireplay's Zombie Master Servers. Please give them a careful read and be sure to follow them or else...
Admins decisions are FINAL & questioning them ingame is not an option. If you feel you have been treated unfairly then please report it on this forum or to Cmndr0 (http://forums.wireplay.co.uk/member.php?u=62426) (Wireplay Zombie Master Community Liaison), ssmmdd (http://forums.wireplay.co.uk/member.php?u=44901) (Wireplay Zombie Master Deputy Community Liaison), JamesBPK (http://forums.wireplay.co.uk/member.php?u=63937) (Wireplay Zombie Master Head Admin) or SteveP (http://forums.wireplay.co.uk/member.php?u=30048) (Wireplay Head Of Gaming Operations) otherwise put up & shut up.
Racism: If we hear it, see it, read it or if proof is shown to us, we instantly ban you, PERMANENTLY, no warnings, no exceptions, no unbans, no mercy, full stop, bye bye, do not pass Go, do not collect $200, GAME OVER. This includes but is not limited to: names using racist slogans, players using sprays containing racist material, players typing or saying racist remarks & anything else deemed racist by the Admin. We couldn't care less if it's allowed on any other Server - On Wireplay's Servers, it's NOT welcome. You have been warned. Football is trying to kick racism out of the game - let's all shoot racism out of Zombie Master. (Corny I know, but what the Hell - ssmmdd)
No cheating. Cheating of *ANY* kind, INCLUDING ABUSING MAP EXPLOITS (aka GLITCHING) will result in an IMMEDIATE PERMANENT BAN & your ID reported to Steam. We couldn't care less if it's your daughter's/son's/wife's/fiancée's/fiancé's/brother's/sister's/cousin's/uncle's/friend's/dog's/stranger's PC (or even a PC at an Internet Café) or that someone may have had access to your PC & may have 'accidentally' put a cheat on. Also, pathetic excuses like "I didn't know I was cheating" or "I was only trying/testing it" or "I was only having a go" don't work here. The Valve Anti-Cheat Tool is on the Servers for a reason - so don't even think about it.
Use of offensive language and/or personal threats towards other players by mic or chat is NOT tolerated, you will recieve one warning & then a ban the length of which will be determined by the Admin applying the Ban.
Attempting to impersonate an admin either by nickname or insinuation will result in a permanent ban.
Swearing is allowed, but please try to keep it to a minimum. Excessive swearing will result in a warning and a possible ban depending upon use and context.
Mic spamming and chat spamming is not permitted, anyone caught mic spamming will be given one warning, failure to comply will result in a 1 week ban.
We like Sprays on the Wireplay Zombie Master Servers & in fact use them ourselves (Look out for Cmndr0's huge eyeball or ssmmdd's Zombie Food Pyramid :E) as we find most of them quite funny/weird/awesome/cool/etc. However, please have some common sense when selecting your Spray, as if we find you're covering the walls of the map in porn or something just as bad, you will be asked to change your Spray. Failure to comply will result in a Ban.
We are SERIOUSLY getting fed up of the really sick & pure awful sprays that we are seeing & being told about on the Wireplay Zombie Master Servers. We have had enough of these sick individuals & warn you NOW that WHEN we catch you (& trust me, once the new Spray Tracking Plug-In is Installed, you WILL be caught), you will not only be IMMEDIATELY Perm Banned from ALL of the Wireplay Servers, but we will also report you to Steam, your ISP & the Police. We point blank REFUSE to have this sick crap on our Servers, end of.
Hulk spamming, Banshee spamming and any other kind of Zombie spamming is NOT - we repeat *NOT* - illegal! It's the job of the Zombie Master to KILL *ALL* THE HUMANS as best s/he can, so don't come to us bitching about it as we'll just point & laugh at you. We do know about the bug in the Banshee Zombie Hitboxes but we're afraid it's beyond our power to fix & you're gonna have to wait for Steam/Valve to get off their backsides for a possible fix.
Repeatedly breaking the above rules WILL result in a permanent ban.
These rules are in place to ensure that everyone has a fair and fun time on the Zombie Master Servers. We don't exactly want to have to moan, bitch, Kick or Ban any players using our (wonderful :P) Zombie Master Servers, but as Admins it is our job to make sure that the rules are being kept to. Please don't give us reason to, we much prefer to play the game & have fun.
If we find something else that needs a rule we'll make a change to the above but as of now these rules are law and should be treated as such.
