Friendly fire and a bad admin?

I joined server 03 with redqueen for a game of Zombie kills and fun. What I find is a server with people complaining about Friendly fire being turned on. It turns out that admin "Pestilence" is the cause of it. To quote an angry player which the admin killed, "****ing admin noob". Okey, that's bad language and yes, it should be a warning. BUT, what does admin reply? "yuo asshole", "i know dickface".

Then I decide to join the conversation, and I am trying to explain that ZM is about killing Zombies, not team members. That results in me, getting called a baby by the admin. It's hard to upset me about games, but this really did it.

I hope some of the other admins take care of this and make sure that every admin can behave well. No matter how rude a player is, the admin shouldn't be as rude back, or even worse.

Zirro you and claimer were the only people complaining so get that straight. My reply to this persons abuse was justified' do you just expect me to lay down! i think not. As for the ff it was for two rounds and I see you killing intentionally so your complaint to me holds no water.

I see no reason that an admin can't just hand out a warning in that case, and don't act as stupid back.

I was there at the time, and I found friendly fire fun and it was only on for 2 rounds! Gosh! I saw pestilence shooting the uzi and the person involved walked right infront of it. The kill was NOT intentional. As for the people complaining, there wasn't many at all and after all it was only on for two rounds. Also for the insult directed at the admin by the killed player, there was no need for it to be that harsh,especially at an admin.

Your actions could also be seen as stupid= insulting an admin for something unintentional. Just because im admin it does not mean that i have to act like a nun, he insulted me so i did so back. Your unnecesarry complaint for this matter seems to be very personal, could it be that you just want to make a stab in the dark and hope you succeed?

If someone insults you, im sorry but you insult them back. Its called self respect!

I would never hire an admin who is rude against members, I would make sure they do their job and ban people if needed... In addition it might give the server bad reputation...

Take someone who stabs a knife in you for example, and gets punished for that (jail IRL, ban in ZM.). If you stab someone back in real life, do you think they will let you go then?

The player did insult me and I will admit I was overly aggressive in the insult I fired back. Personally I hate the word "noob" and I did lose my temper in my reaction. This will no longer happen. As if there is a next time, the result will be a kick/ban and not a personal reply back.

This issue is now considered closed by myself and BPK, I will be in touch with the players concerned in this incident personally to ensure everything is dealt with.

I would like to assure the community that no admin would be on these servers without first proving they are capable of their job. Although we accept that everyone can lose their tempers once in a while the reaction of pestilence was unnacceptable to us, this will be dealt with internally and therefore needs no further discussion.

I consider this issue is now closed and as i said will be dealt with by the wpzm staff.
