Assuming this is a serious post, L4D is a first person shooter built from the ground up for cooperative play. It's incredibly simple to play but will offer a challenge to even the most hardcore players. It's the first FPS in a long time where you get to slaughter hundreds of enemies in a short space of time, harking back to the days of Doom and Serious Sam. The premise is simple, get from A to B and don't die, but there are zombies in your way who will try to ruin your day. There are 4 campaigns and each campaign comprises of multiple levels. Depending on the difficulty level and the competance of the people you play with you can play through an entire campaign in an hour.

This means you can play the entire game through in 4 hours, but the clever bit is the AI Director which means that zombie, weapon, health and exploding items are placed randomly so each play through is unique and keeps you on your toes.

You can also play in versus mode where you get to play some of the zombies against other players.

Finally if you can't find anyone to group with the game provides AI controlled bots which are highly effective, though you can always find a random server with people on to play on.

Little tip for you, there's likely only going to be one response to the question "Is this game any good?" when you post the question in a forum dedicated to the game ;)
