WPFFL Week 2 Predictions

Okay Opty was supposed to get a thread up for week 1 but was found to be slacking! So i'll get the ball rolling on week 2 fixtures.

Maps are 2Fort and Roasted.


Premier Division

[DA] vs. [RIP]

Two solid teams and given the tight maps I'd expect this to be quite a close game with [DA] possibly having a strong enough defense to edge it but id expect it to be only a 4-5 cap swing over the two maps.


iL. vs. [-]

The has-been tfc players are not really adjusting to FF very well so can't see past a comfortable win for [-] here who should be much better on offense so I reckon [-] to take it by about 4-5 caps on each map. You could argue iL. might have a chance on dm orientated map like 2fort but it will probably be the first time most of them have seen the vent!! :p


teamfail. vs. =AS=

Hmm not much to say here, Can't see past a fairly comfortable win for fail by about 10-15 caps over the two maps. Sorry zE!!


Division 1

Okay Division 1 is a bit tougher to call given they never play matches but sure ill give it a go.

=[IDK]= vs. .OnAcid

Okay the Bunnies have looked fairly decent in the few friendlies they have played and will probably be too much for IDK who I guess will suffer from a lack of FF experience. So I'll take the bunnies by about 5 caps on each map.

xeno vs. 4m

Two fresh teams. 4m have stepped in to replace HoL in Div1 and look to be the most inexperienced team in the division but they have a collection of solid
spanish players from the tfc days and most importantly they have Ernie!!! 4m to win but could be close.

Easily the two strongest teams in the division and probably better than a few of the Premier teams!

The Shok brother experiment has been bolstered with a couple of solid FF pickup regulars in achy and rainz so they seem to be improving all the time. This fixture might have come a little too soon for them though as m00 have a solid team, although they don't help themselves by accidentally deleting their members from the website! Expect a close game with m00 to take it by about 5-6 caps overall.


Okay since some teams are playing some matches a week in advance (Hi b0nes!!) ill throw up a week 3 thread in the next couple of days.

I was informed of the necessity of creating a predictions thread after the majority of week 1 games had been played:

So in my wisdom I delegated the task to end- and there is the product.

Prem

iL. vs [-]
I can only see iL. getting better, so if they get some practice in, the [-] vs iL. being tighter than 5 caps/map.

[DA] vs [RIP]
Will be close, but with 2fort in there, I'd expect [RIP] to win this one or a draw with RIP winning 2fort and [DA] roasted.

Teamfail vs =AS=
As per end- teamfail by some margin. (Soz again zE and Ninas :p)

Div 1

=[IDK]= vs. .OnAcid
Don't know a great deal about either of these sides, but some of the .OnAcid players have been playing pickups which I think will give them the edge over IDK.

xeno vs. 4m
Xeno had a poor result in week 1, but their players have had a years layoff, with more play time they will get a lot better. I have no idea about any of 4m's players so I'll toss a coin.... Xeno win apparently

Very good result for Priceless in week 1, they have improved somewhat since I last played them, .m00 have organisational struggles with their CL going on holiday at the wrong time. I'll go for a priceless win by about 6/7 caps overall

2 v interesting prem games this week...

iL vs [-] on 2fort will be a very close game if iL get off their arses and sort a strat for it. sadly they prolly cba tho lol, and so iL will most likely loose by a rather misleading scoreline :) unless [-] have some tricks up their sleeves, we know what they can do, and so imo 2fort will be won or lost by iL, who have some potentially really good players. on roasted i expect iL to defend well, but lack the general FF experience and so far lack the offy spam that map needs, so will probably loose by about a 1:2 cap ratio.

[DA] vs [RIP] should be a tight game on both maps. i'd favour [RIP] on 2fort's small enclosed spaces, and [DA] on roasted's larger spaces, but not by much on either. both maps are most definitely up for grabs on the night.

and finally...

teamfail vs =AS= will probably be a big fail. the size of the fail will depend v much on who turns up to play. if our top team turns up then it'll be a huge fail, but if they don't then it could be a gg. cookye ftw!

Well if everyone else is doing it il do one as well.

[DA] vs [RIP]

We have pld [RIP] quite a few times but we have never pld [DA] in FF yet. Tho then again i kinda know what DA can do as i know the players quite well. I think [DA] lack the experenice in FF. So this game could go either way. [RIP] Atm has the experience but lacking comms i think. I think this is gonna be a tight game. If [DA] can put out a good team then its all over. Tho then again in [RIP] pulls there finger out and get a good team out this could go either way.

iL. vs [-]
- iL. back in the days were the big boys. They would show any prem clan what there made of. Tho in FF i think its gonna be a lil different. I think iL. will struggle at first and then gain some experience then take down alot of clans. iL is one to watch. The more games there play. The stronger there get but [-] will over power them. [-] has alot of experience and good comms. If [-] keeps it 2gether it could be a nice win.

teamfail vs =AS=

This is gonna be close one. teamfail is a good clan there one of the best atm. Good comms & good players and got some good experience behind them. Tho =AS= is a good clan and they will give them a run for there money. Decent clan and some awesome members. teamfail will have a hard time and AS will give them a run for there money. Tho teamfail might nab this one i think.

=[IDK]= vs .Onacid

=[IDK]= was a good clan back in the days. Friendlybutch all 2gether. Tho they have just come on the scene. not pld erm yet, so i don't really wanna say much. Tho watch out for these lads they might give alot of clans a run for there money. If they have the right members and communcation they will do damage. Tho there playing a clan called .onacid . not really heard of the clan before tho the members i have. They seem like a good butch. If i was honest i don't know which way this will go but looking at the members of each clan i would go with .onacid.

.xeno vs 4m

.xeno was a cool clan but in the day. They have been around for donkeys years. Good little clan and is up for anything. I merced for them once and they have really good comms. Tho i think there a little rusty atm. There last game they had. Well sorry to hear they crashed big time. Tho i am sure these lads can pick the peices and give 4m a run for there money. 4m is a new clan. Never heard of erm. Tho looking at the members. Its not a bad lineup. This is gonna be a tough one to call. I think il give it 4m - due to members. Tho if .xeno can keep it tight with there good comms. I am sure they can pull it off.

Well P clan is a new one to me tho looking at there members I think these guys and .onacid is the ones to watch out for. .m00 has no worrys about playing these guys tho .m00 has to make sure there comms are tip top. P clan has got a great lineup and i think these guys will go far. I think this one will be a tight game. Tho due to me not being around and getting games for .m00 we ain't practiced much. so i might give it 2 P clan atm. gg and can't wait to play erm :D
