What Games do you want???

This is a special post, and you can put down what games you want to be suppported by Wireplay. Hopefully, one of the people who runs this, will actually read it.

So, to start the ball rolling, I want Tiberium Sun, and Quake Arena, to be supported by Wireplay.

You're getting ahead of yourself DANATH m8 - evidently there should soon be either new web pages / forums / request procedures (or combinations thereof) for introducing and requesting new games http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif This will allow a more comprehensive list of what has been previously requested and when it will be available / progress being made on it or why it doesn't work... I'm not sure when its arriving - I'm hoping for the new year but Uprising was talking to Mohawk and MrVista about it the other day...

So as this thread will probably not get answered save them all up 'til then...

Uprising - I hope you don't mind me re-iterating your promises??? Not going to get me a bad name if they aren't fulfilled is it???

ive been askin and requesting for ages now
for the fifa seties to be added to wireplay so im requesting FIFA 99. Like the other guy said wp needs a website where we can request games and get some feed back on whether they are going to add them or not. Last time i asked about fifa they said they were still testing, so if any of u read this how is the testing going guys? And wots the code got to do with whether it works on wp or not? i thought wp was just an easy way to link up machines. So i ask again please post a reply to tell me how testing is going guys.

As for other games well i would like to see a SIN server up an running. An please dont mess up like unreal. Wot happened to that then. When it first was setup it worked fine and now its completly ****ed! An maybe u could advetise wp a bit more and advertise the games u support as no one plays unreal any way. Probably because its so damn hard to start!!
Other games u could support (when released i mean) are GANGSTERS(good money mket there as games would last for ages)if it took off which i doubt.QUAKE 3 AREANA, SOUTH PARK, TIBERIUM SUN, GTA 2(try makin this one fast),
OTHER EA SPORTS TITLE, INTERSTATE 82 and put on 76 coz thats a larf and popular on the net

Well ive run out of ideas but hey enough of my complaining(constuctive critisism actually)WP is a great place to play online gaming so keep up the good work it could be even better if u iron out a few problems an add a couple of features but i wont go into that now! i gotta go coz this is runnin up a bill

BT? Like in most other countries im sure wp would be more popular and to make up the money u bung on some extra quid on the subscription !

I dont understand what your problem is with Unreal on Wireplay. There are four servers offering each of the new game types in version 220 and I've had some great games with silky smooth performance. (Have you tried it recently with the new patch?) The turbo and hardcore options make for a great larff.

Since the server browser program was released a couple of days ago things have got even better as you can now see which servers have got people in before you join them (a big improvement - thanks WP).

Yer I am with Dom on this one, a DECENT RPG would be cool. After trying shed loads of other Muds out there, Mud2 is one of the worst, with its limitations (and this from the man that got PEAPOD the woman that spent 16 hours solid on it, and is now a witch http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif) But a graphic one like Ultima would be brill. At the last WP meeting I went to, it was hinted at that something simialr would be coming soon, but nowt thus far. This would drag hundreds more people in, as like when WP was first setup, there is nothing like it available in this country.
FInally in this thread, why does the last PC Zone say theres going to be a HL and A SIn server going up at the same time? Did you change your plans or are they lying?

Yes we do plan to have a special site with info on games that we have tested, considered, rejected due to insufficient demand, planning to look at, etc.

However, in the meantime - using this thread to present your opinions is a good idea.

Hog - I'm not sure what happened with PCZone (I thought it was the PC Format supplement?) we want to support SiN but we weren't confident with its stability or the demand for it - but HalfLife - we do support it now!! - Go play if you want... I'm hoping Santa will include Half-life in my Xmas stocking so I can play this after the festivities - when I've got it I'll let you know so you can publically humiliate me :-)

Hehe Oscar, you dont need any game for us to humiliate ya http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif Erm it was def PC Zone, but I dont bother with gamesworlds anymore, just rapid play and mind games. I get faster more smooth games of Q2, Unreal and Half Life on the net. I aint about to down flash my modem to k56flex from V90, cos it wont make any difference, (I had K56flex to start with and it was poo) and at the moment connecting at 31200 is poo. Before anyone tries to be helpfull, I have got the perfect set up for online playing for em all, courtesy of 3fingers, batch file and all, and while it made a noticiable difference on the Net, its made no difference at all on WP. So put what ever you want on there http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Definitely want Falcon 4. More and faster servers for Halflife as well. Currently I get about 200ms lag on halflife which is pants with a 56K modem. What is the latest patch version?
