The lag

Something needs to be done about this. The servers are being filled up with foreigners, mainly spanish peeps, speaking in their language, and lagging the server to hell.

I had a ping of 300ms about 5 minutes ago. I usually get about 40ms. It's only when foreigners are about it gets lagged up.

The servers should be locked off to anybody outside the UK, they aren't tournament servers, so foreigners have no place lagging up us. They can play on their own servers.

It's causing tremendous problems, and it's the spanish that lower the tone of Wireplay, because they couldn't hit a barn door with a rocket launcher! Let alone a player.

Most definetaly mainly to do with your ISP, and a little bit wo do with us m8, see if you can tweak your connection settings a bit too

Not wanting to sound all um, dunno what the word is, but, anyway.

It's not my ISP I am on Uunet, you don't get lag on there, if you do, they give you your money back

I took a screen shot of the lag, do you think it's my end or WP end? Taking in note that a lot of these players are from Europe, so will not be on the same networks, let alone ISP's.

The same happens on UK2. A foreigner (mainly an American with a bandwidth stealing supa fast connexion) comes in and brings the pings up high above 400. OMG teh bann0r!!!1111
