Just to display what I have noticed.

The Wireplay CS servers seem to be on a very good connection, there was problems earlier on, but these have seemed to have been resloved.

When pinging the server (ICMP packets) I get about a 30ms response time, which is probably as good as it gets on ADSL.

The snag is playing on these servers gives another story altogether. I rarely see my ping drop to under 80. Often its up above 200ms! Which is a bit insane.

I think a lot of this is to do with the amount of Foreigners playing, and maybe restricting it to UK networks only would be a smart move. The Spanish are the worse, no idea why, but they pick on Wireplay to play on. With their >400ms pings they will crowd a server and vote everybody out so they can have a clan game :/

Perhaps reducing servers to a more basic form. Put 3 on a box, with no admin mod or anything no cheat protection, and leave for a few days. See how they handle, then add the forth and see what happens. Then add cheat protection etc etc...

Expect some changes to the servers tomorrow. The number of servers won't be reduced but the IP's/ports will be

Also, last night the nextmap feature of Adminmod was fecked, but oit seems repaired today. It would say nextamp was de_Inferno and it would be militoia, and this went on all night from about 3:00 till late..
