    Area Problems

    Okay so this one is for area specific problems - this can be anything from missing map pins to faction issues within the area.

    Again please be as concise as possible - obviously name the area, but also whereabouts in the area and exactly what the problem is.
    If its not Dwarven, Its crap!

    Ford of Bruinen is very quiet. Consider adding a few sound placeables and adding sounds from area properties/i8ncreasing their volume. Sat there on the evil quest last night and it was dead quiet

    The loot drops in the area north of rivendell. Is disproportional to the other areas in the game, many high value loot and a higher incidence of rare magic items such as epic cure potions, circlets of arda and the ellusive 000 belt occur here.

    Also the same is for the area in the goblin gate, the loot there might be higher than normal.

    hmm Curumo. Are these loot from containers OR boss drops?

    If its boss drops - correct boss inventory

    If its containers - make sure all area containers are from category 'medium' from the treasure list.

    There are two or three bottles/glasses that are not sitting on the table but float in mid air. Its to the left of the front door as you come in.

    Old Moria

    Container and creature loot drops in the old Moria areas spawn old potions like Bull's strength instead of Tulkas. Which is not a problem, but that way there is also an occasional loot drop of invisibility potion, which - as i assume - according to the changes of the magical system (i.E. deletion of invisibility spells) might become illegal loot drops.
    Area names are
    Moria - Second Deep - Dark Tunnels
    Moria - Third deep - Western Mines

    Moria - Fourth Deep - Dwarrowdelf - Desolate Halls: seems to be already updated
    To realize truth you have to doubt before...

    Best chances to meet in game (GMT): 20:00-23:00 on weekdays, randomly at weekends

    Sequence of events:

    1. My orc char strolls into Tharbad without any disguise.

    2. When passing the guard, he is asked a question concerning his "unusual" appearance.

    3. The dialogue breaks as the character runs past from the guard (the mouse click was all the way across the street, and I didn't grab the mouse fast enough upon seeing the dialogue)

    I wasn't sure what was meant to happen at that point, and figured out that guards attacking the orc would seem to be the most likely outcome. So I decided to put it "back on track" by attacking the guard who spoke to me (with a bow). Nonetheless, he remained friendly throughout the target practice, merely reminding to put the weapon away. Other guards didn't seem to care much when shot at, either. I'm not sure if it's their normal behaviour or result of me breaking the dialogue about appearance, though.

    The area transition between north foothills and Rivendell is broken. It's particularely frustrating because I can't get the reward for the quest I just completed.

    North foothills link is indeed broken - and the area is needed for the first of Elrond's sons' quests.

    There is no return trip from Tolfalas to Umbar. I do not know if this is an oversight, or intentional.

    I do not know if this has been reported or not: a '000' belt (+1, freedom) was found in the second lvl of paths of the dead.

    Everything up to here has been added to my workbook - hopefully it should be sorted in the next round of fixes. Only re-report these if they are still there after the fixes update has been announced and gone live.

    Midgewater Marsh

    There is a non-functioning transition on near the middle of the south edge of the Midgewater Marsh.

    It does have a map pin claiming it to take to the Great East road east of Bree.

    Another bug/typo on a different area (not sure if this one should be in Monster or Quest reports, instead): In the Tharbad road area Dúnedain camp, Bounce the Dúnedain Captain does tell in his conversation the player that the tombs in the Barrow Downs are from the First Age. Considering that the dead people there were buried by the people of Cardolan, that is false. (Arnor was founded in the end of the Second Age, and broke into three kingdoms much later.)

    MIsty Mountains - North

    On the middle southern edge of the map, there is a dud transition claiming to take you to Rivendell.

    Sadly, this is also the only exit, unless going underground to greet some trolls?

    The Greenway South - Tharbad Road

    In the eastern side of the area, the first tent from Strider and the barrels and crates are floating over ground.

    Old Forest

    Seems to be completely undeveloped, with only transitions & basic terrain laden.

    And once in it, how about connecting that non-functioning transition in Old Forest - West to Buckland? (Crickhollow wouldn't perhaps be the exactly correct location, but there you'd have another non-functioning transition ready.)

    This would create an alternate route for those prefering not to use roads for travel. (Though admittedly, on the end needing to travel through the Barrow Downs.)

    Why oh why am I seeing repeats of earleir posts - everything before my last post has been added to my notebook and is being worked on - hopefully for an update this weekend. As I said in my last post please don't re-report until after the update has gone in, otherwise it's very difficult for me to work out what actually still needs doing. When I update there will be a post in the announcements forum, and I'll also post in each bugs thread what's been done from the thread - and won't be done and the reasons for this.
