Server Rules

Admins are there to provide a postive gaming experience.

The Main rules are below, failure to adhere these could result in a warning, kick or ban:

Standard Rules

1. Any racism
2. Abusing or threatening admins or other players or clans (via chat or voice comms)
3. Cheating (wallhack, aimbot, speed cheat, etc.), and/or evading any server installed anti-cheat software
4. Using an offensive, vulgar or otherwise inappropriate name
5. Pretending to be an admin
6. Pretending to be someone else
7. Map Breaking
8. Blocking doors/ladders
9. Using porn sprays
10. Using sprays or chat to post URL's to inappropriate sites, such as porn or hack sites
11. Team Shooting/Killing/Armour Stripping
12. Repeated or strong Swearing
13. Repeated respawn camping, respawn piping and/or spamming
14. Excessive chat/voice Spam (including Trade spam)
15. Camping with the object/flag/intelligence
16. Idling
17. Attempting to impersonate an admin either by nickname or insinuation
18. Any other disruptive or abusive behaviour

Team Fortress 2 Additional Rules

1. Spamming/Piping/Camping of Resupplies/Respawn Points

Team Fortress Classic Additional Rules

1. Team changing and swap class to lose infection/prevent a death
2. Piping/Detpacking Respawns
3. Throwing gren's over wall on Dustbowl from attack respawn side of tunnel
4. Crossing tunnel to enemy attack respawn area on Dustbowl
5. Crossing on sniper maps (going over the half way mark of the map)
6. Staying in the respawn when infected
7. Purposefully infecting your own team
8. Blocking doors/ladders by feigning
9. Use of nail gren bug

The above is for guidance, ultimately, if you are asked to do something (or indeed stop doing something) by an admin then please heed their advice. Failure to do so may result in you being kicked and/or banned from the server.

Banning Procedure

Bans are automatically added and removed from our servers based on the information contained within our ban site http://bans.wireplay.co.uk/. If you have a query on your ban then please in the first instance contact the admin that banned you.

To see the amount of time remaining on your ban please review your ban details within our ban site. Ban removals can take upto an additional 30 minutes after expiry to be removed.

Additionally, please note that bans added to our ban database are global across our game servers. Therefore, if you receive a ban in Natural Selection you will also be banned from TFC. Any permanent ban received will also apply to Wireplay Competitions such as Leagues and Ladders.
